I am the nephew of Dwight Thornton. He was the younger brother of my father (Weldon Thornton). The Thornton family lived in Baconton and then Albany, Georgia. My mother (Barbara Holton) is from Camilla. My parents are still living here in North Carolina. Dwight was a helicopter pilot with the 101st Airborne. He was killed in Laos 25 October 1969. I hope that any of you might be willing to share what you know about what happened in that incident now 45 years ago.
Thanks very much.

I'm a life member of the VHPA, originally from Crabapple GA. A High School friend, also a Viet Nam helicopter pilot, seems to have vanished from the earth. His name is Buddy Carroll, he would have graduated flight school in a 67 or early 68 class. If anyone knows how to contact Buddy the information would be appreciated, use my email included. Milton High is having the class of 64 reunion Oct 4 and we would all like for buddy to participate.
Thanks
Eric

Can you please help me? I'm trying to contact Marilyn Freeman Johnston. She posted this comment on December 20, 2011.
"I would like to contact Freddie Serna concerning the helicopter crash in which his brother died. I was engaged to Steve Chasin (we had been together for five years when he died) and have a lot of information about the crash (May 14, 1970, Cambodia) if he wants to write me. I have had several crew members from other ships write me the details of the crash and could share these with Freddie if he would want to know the exact circumstances. Also, I believe I have at least one picture of Freddie's brother. I know Steve cared for his crew very much and had a lot of respect for all three of them."

Admistrator you have my permission to give her my email address as entered above. Thank you.
